Tips for tempis?

Daffy44, more stupid questions!

I know that you are suppose to ask for the change (say in the fours) on the third stride, but I'm finding that we tend to get three's then, I'm not sure if I'm asking on the wrong part of the stride? Or if maybe Topaz is just a bit too reactive? I will film more and keep trying as it might (it is :lol:) just be I've not got the rhythm down yet, but wondered if there was something else I'm missing?

Not a stupid question at all. To get 4s, count 1,2,3,change that should do it. For 3s, count 1,2,change. Are you counting like that? If you are and its still going wrong, then its probably the timing of change, but I would imagine its more like the counting going wrong, as you are already riding nice changes your timing should be correct.
 
Ah yes me being silly I think, and thinking the change should be asked with the third stride :o

So it should be: one stride, two strides, three strides and on the fourth stride it's change

aka 1, 2, 3 and then change

Not 1, 2, 3 + change :lol::o...

:o I am actually fairly intelligent with a Chemistry degree, I feel like this shouldn't be this hard :lol:;)!
 
If you have a Chemistry degree your way cleverer than me! But from a fellow rubbish counter, I totally understand the counting issues, just wait til you get to the zig zags, counting, sideways and changing! My brain just exploded and fell out of my ears.

But your right, to get fours you ask for the change on the fourth stride, so you count 1, 2, 3, change
