Bottom line is I think the bsja should let the show centres run shows and classes that suit their clientele. Every show centre knows their own business.
Categorisation was brought in to supposedly sort out any shows clashing, has worked to a certain extent was not well enough. I know 2 show centres within 10 minutes of each other that run almost the same schedule last season. This shouldn't happen under new system.
The show centres that spend the time, effort and money will win through in the end as the competitors will support them.
Agree with the idea that ponies should only jump in junior classes. My son has just started doing Amateur classes and can't beleieve the numbers of ponies that whizz round .90m and 1m classes.
