my older horse is a little scatty to jump...especially when he doesn't jump very often which is the current situation- he tries to leg it off with head in the air, is capable of a very quick stop and it takes ages of patient riding to actually get him to take off in the right place and make a decent non-inverted shape over a fence (but when jumped regularly he can jump nicely- he's far left in my siggy). now sharer has been making noises about wanting to jump him. i've said no way but then i think she thinks i'm just being mean- i'm really not, sharer hasn't jumped for 20 years and i think she didn't do that much jumping even then...should i just let her do it to see what happens or stick with gut instinct that there might be an accident!?
