As you probably know Pip was a little walking tick city when we got her, the VERY patient groomer took them all off (about 50) luckily non of the sites have gone bad apart from one.
Now its just forward of her flank, I know there was a tick in that exact spot so I'm guessing thats what has caused a lump. Its a lump with a head about the size of a bite. You could see the 'something' black sticking out a little bit but couldn't get hold of it with tweezers haven't had a proper go just an eastenders poke.
Now I spoke to the vet who said its not pussy so either pull it out if you get a chance or leave it, only worry if it turns out to become pussy and worse case senario into an abcess!
So do I hold her down pull it out bath the area in hibby scrub or similar and know I might not get it all out but hopefully will and the lump will go down. Or leave it and hope it grows/is pushed out.
Sorry forgot to say would normally leave it as it seems inactive, however it is itchy for her and she is rubbing against chairs and legs and she is yelping when she knocks it.
I promise not to hold anybody responsible for results of advice given :D

I'd pick! make sure you clean the area thoroughly after you have done so and hopefully all will be rectified! Plus its so satisfying! :D
