Well early december I decided I would sell my mare as I really do need a bigger one & she can now teach someone else. So should I put her up now or wait another month or so ?
She is only 6 but been to all PC type activites, local shows, sponsered rides - bascially everything :)
Whats the market like for this type of horse at the moment, is it worht waiting or is now the time to sell ?
Thanks

I just posted the same thing! lol as we are having to sell my daughter's BS pony :-(
Most views seemed to be spring time x

I have started telling people about her & will probaly continue like that until late feb/early march then I'm not wasting money on adverts but she is still for sale. Anyone wanting details PM me :)

Personally I think there has always been a market for a realistically priced sane, sound horse - looking on some of the horsey sites peoples expectations are ridiculous.

My friend has decided well must sell her homebred mare, done all RC activities and will be sold / put on the market for about £2750 - just looked on Horsemart and H&H for a similar horse and they are priced anywhere between £2k and 8K - who would in their right mind would pay £8k for a RC horse!!

I advertised my horse a few weeks before xmas and was totally overwhelmed by the response for him, there are so many people out there looking for a nice allrounder for reasonable money.
Over the course of a week I had at least 20 enquiries with 4 people desperately wanting to view but I ended up selling him to a friend.
Price realistically rather than having to reduce later on, take decent pics and videos to make it easier for buyers and youll have no problem!

Totally agree.............and well done for selling to a friend

I personally think everyone should be selling now, not waiting until spring- purely because I've sold my lad and I'm looking! :-D
