Can't remember who u were (sorry)
Was driving home from doing horses at lunchtime and passed the most gorgous grey cob type with a huge white tail in pristine condition - v white and well groomed. I was so impressed I stopped and asked her (the rider not teh horse) how she kept it so clean!!
Anyway - she said she washed it like normal but when the ends start to go yellow (every couple of months) she puts some of the tablets u get for cleaning false teeth into a bucket of warm water and soaks the yellow parts until they whiten. She said she used Tescos own and only does the end as its the only bit that goes yellow.... I so wish I could have got a pic I didn't know tails that long could be so clean in winter - it was abt half an inch from the ground....
