Yes i like his blaze too!! She seems to be notorious for throwing bizarre looking blazes. Her last foal had an odd looking one too. But his is nice

I should think he'll grey out! His full brother is almost 2 and a nice steel grey at the moment. He started off much the same, the spit of his mummy!

All her foals to date have been colts, anyone else got a mare who only throws one sex? Or do you think it was just a coincidence?

Strange I know but....

I have one mare that has only ever had fillies (to date - due in 7 weeks...)

I have another that has only had colts (currently 315 days...)

and my lovely Holly (RIP) had Colt/Filly/Colt/Filly/Colt.........

I have had 3 by Classic - 2 colts (RIP both boys, both Holly's babies) and 1 Filly

2 by Maxwells Nescafe 1 Filly and 1 colt.......

Congratulations and what a lovley distinctive blaze!! Mum looks big, what height is she? Funny about the greying question, I too from that first photo thought that he'd go grey! Well done again and you can relax now!! I wish I could go back to those days with newborn foal to play with, or go forwards to riding now!! Yearlings aren't one or the other, I'm in limbo!!! Thankfully I have my mare to play with in the meantime!!!
