No. He is the most terrible pony I've ever seen. Disgusting confo & evil temperament & just not at all suitable for what you want him for.

Therefore, I am generously offering to take him on to save your boys from Tommys' murderous intent

Bless yah , Il have to ask tiarnan first .

Nothing negative to say, you know exactly what I think of Tommy. He is everything a mother could want in a pony. Bold, gentle, stunning looks, fab confo.

He is a TRUE mother's dream and I am pretty jealous!

He's a welsh mountain pony(unless I'm wrong), that's typical of the breed, of all welsh ponies actually.

That's a Baledon pony, and she's stood on a hill, here is a better photo of her:

Exactly what I was going to say. The above is stood on a hill. I've never seen a Sec A, or any Welshie, that hasn't got a 'sway' back. It isn't a fault, it is how the breed is.

The same as Shires are generally cow hocked (I think)

Lol I did say his back appeared rather dipped in the photos... when we were showing the ponies didn't have such a dipped back.... maybe it is just the photo of Tommy.. as I said he doesn't appear it under saddle

I'm sorry, I get quite upset when people say that Welsh ponies have 'dipped' backs just because they don't have the long straight backs of a TB.

That pic of Clan Pip is from the 1960s, they had dipped backs then.
TBH I think it's probably about the breeding, the more traditional types have 'dipped' backs.
It's like shetlands, I have a scottish one who to me looks like a miniature HIghland pony but I see so many 'english bred' shetties now that are fine and long legged, they still manage to win at the shows though.

Revel is in tommys bloodline

Tommy has been my first little welsh and I have to say I have been doing alot of research into them and just generally finding out about different bloodlines, Also been talking with tommys breeder Connor McCormick who is a huge show person over here, he has bred alot of top quality ponies in his time .

Thanks Carysdb he is pretty special to me.

Tell Tiarnan he's a very lucky lad!

I'll let him keep Tommy, for now

I'm only just scraping 5ft & when the time is right for me to go pony shopping again I'm seriously considering looking at a Welsh B/C.

Do you think I'd look ridiculous on something like that?

I'm very petite though so maybe not. As I say, scraping 5ft & 7st so not much different to the average 11/12 year old!!!

Always loved Welshies so I am very tempted.... Especially if it has the nature of T. I need something that'll build my confidence back up.
