I am torn between feeding either top spec balancers and the life force formula. Anyone got any preferences?
I have two ex racers one 19 who as of yesterday has been diagnosed with arthritis in his front fetlocks and one 12 who I struggle to keep weight on in winter. I want to feed a glucosamine supplement to Fred so was looking at top spec senior and possibly the comprehensive for Marley. However I am suspecting Marley may have some kind of digestive issue when stabled at night in winter. He does not eat a lot of hay and last year became very dull and ribby despite shovelling feed in him. He is also a weaver but not horrendous.
I've heard a lot of good things about life force formula that would suit Marley and also Fred. But I have also heard good things about top spec and ideally I want to feed them the same. Would top spec help with digestive issues and get him eating hay? Do people recommend the senior for the glucosamine or am I better off with a separate supplement?
Any opinions welcome....thanks
