Tough love?

I tried to post this last time but Photobucket was busy. Not there yet but the smile says it all. We have done well really as he only gets two or three hours training a week. But I don't think it does any harm to have 'time off' to let him think about it!

yeaahh well done Dry Rot & co :D Here are a couple of pics of mine. I’ve worked with a fair few youngsters as well but with mine (as yours) the difference is she’s been hill run and left unhandled for 3 years so it’s knowing exactly how much pandering to do and when to draw the line and know they are no longer genuinely afraid/wary and starting to take the pi$$

mine’s been backed.. by the cat

You have done well with that chap! Mine has definitely had bad experiences as his basic training was good -- leading over plastic, a plywood sheet, a pallet, etc. but would spook as certain things or if approached from a certain angle. We have had to work through his foibles and piece together what happened as the seller gave no clue. I had better stop as I am guessing and don't know, but they are educated guesses. He really needs a one-to-one owner with plenty of time which I can't provide, then I think he could turn out to be a great one.

thank you, thats kind :) The one good thing about her is I know she has not had any kind of uncertain history, the few contacts she had with people before I bought her were nice ones. Good luck with yours, you will need to post some updates!

Here’s another of my girl from a couple of months ago
