What’s too long for some people is fine for others :).

I’m an experienced and confident tower, but I live on a narrow lane and there is a ditch opposite. I prefer to swing in and out in one manoeuvre, not to back up part way to correct the angle, which would leave me temporarily blocking the road near a bend. As it is, I can only just do it in one with the LWB Shogun and an Ifor 510. We could widen our main entrance, but that would involve the partial demolition of a stone wall which is over 100 years old, which seems a tad drastic.

Folk who live somewhere with wider roads and easier entrances would be ok with a longer tow vehicle.
