but then, im a hilux geek, cant see past them , adore her dearly and am very precious about her. Was even in the owners club. They dont have a high a towing capacity as some but perfectly adequate and legal for an Ifor505.We dont feel our trailer on at all, it tows a dream, feels safe and solid on the road and was a godsend in the bad winter - it will go anywhere, at one point we were the only ones who could get out locally although others have 4x4's. Mine is a 2006 and *touches wood frantically* I havent had to do a thing other than a new exhaust and a wiper blade.

A friend has a garage and they have Ford Rangers and really rate them, that's the other option Id consider although Im not keen on the styling, they look a little old fashioned I think.
then again I did use to have a horsebox lol) but its very roll-y and the suspension is too bouncy for my liking.

They do have the look but its an awful lot of money just for the look.... performance wise it has nothing to justify the extra money.
They couldn't kill it on Top Gear.
OH is a truck nerd, and he says that in the UK he'd either have the Defender or a Hilux.
I have simply turned into a truck snob and won't even have a Range Rover now - they are just too small and are no use on the farm, where do you put a round bale?
