Good idea, I wonder if several of us sending mails might be effective?
Can you pm me her email address, and I'll do the same........

She has a website with contact adress: http://www.princesshaya.net
She has been awarded by the Spanish Equestrian Federation as "The Equestrian Personality of the Year" in 1996.
Thinking aloud about royalties....
The Royal family and especially the Queen are well known all over the world for their love of horses.
Probably someone with better English than mine should write them, too. http://www.royal.gov.uk
Thanks maren, I've sent a mail to her address.
Although on rereading it (after I had sent it), I realised I used the word 'situation' about six or seven times.......
Fantastic idea about emailing Princess Haya, would be lovely if either of you got a response. Ive just noticed that their plight has now been posted on the Trakehners International website. http://www.trakehners-international.com/spain08.html
Its great that it is being so well documented everywhere and raising more awareness. Lets hope someone, somewhere can do something to resolve this mess. Poor things.
There are no excuses that this Women can give for this shocking treament of her horses! I imagine most of the studs in this country or in Europe would have taken these horses on or there are Charities all over the world that would have been able to assist. There is just no excuse! Pure Evil!
Hi this is Susan from Holme Trakehners. I have set up an appeal to raise money for the CACMA to help feed and supply vets for the surviving horses in Spain. As it is expensive to make international money transfers to Spain I have got Lloyds TSB to set up a "Spanish Appeal" account in UK and they will periodically transfer the donations in lump sums without and bank charges to the CACMA account in Spain to help Antonio Mareno with his work in saving the horses. Please go to my website for full details of how to make a donation as well as the latest information on this Tragic case. www.holmetrakehners.com
Every little will help so please try and help even if it is just £5 or £10. One lorry load of hay costs about 500 Euros and this does not last long with all those mouths to feed in dessert like conditions.
