At long last my trailer is finished! Professionally serviced today and they remarked it was in excellent condition and no additional work required :)
However there has been 2 thefts from yards nearby in the last 2 days, an identical Ifor and a box. I have a wheel clamp and a hitch lock and the yard has cctv and its in a locked compound. Is it worth getting insurance as well?
If so can you value for me, Green Ifor 505, 1996. New floor last year, new panel this year. Immaculate and has a tack pack and internal camera.

I have trailer insurance through a broker called Four Counties they were really helpful with valuing my trailer as I was unsure what it was worth. At least if they help you with the value they then can't argue it was worth less if it did ever get stolen.
The insurance also covers you for accidents that happen during loading as the car insurance only covers accidents whilst towing. I would also recommend getting breakdown cover.

I have insurance for mine mainly for the breakdown, it was £180 for the year covers theft, damage and breakdown, well worth it IMO :)
If someone wants to steal your trailer all the locks in the world won't help unfortunately, but they are a deterrent at least.
Value prob £2200 ish?

Thanks, must i'm not to worried about breakdown cover as there is a horse ambulance service on my yard that I would use to rescue me if necessary, it's more the lose of transport.
