Hi Everyone
I have gypsy vanner yearling who will be 2 in August. Once he has turned 2 I am planning on starting training him. When I first got him he was pretty much wild, I managed to halter train him and taught him to lead and stand to be groomed myself. Although now he sometimes plays up when I am leading him and just wants to put his head down for grass. He also sometimes tries to bite. I want to start lunging him, I have tried but he doesn't seem to want to go in a circle. He just gets his head down. I have had a bit in his mouth before but not tried to work him in one. Just wondered if anyone has any advice on what I can do to get some respect and get him lunging. I am thinking of getting a trainer but would be nice to try get some basics done with him.
Thanks
