I am currently fittening a rising 7 year old who from what I gather was broken at 5ish schooled for a while and did a couple of prelim tests then long story short turned out from last Oct to March this year. Last few weeks have just been walking her out on hacks with lots of hill work but today decided to give it a bit of a go in the school as she is looking much better. She is fine in walk but sometimes goes a little over bent, trot - she just seems to go very low and very fast and when you try and slow everything down she gets a little annoyed and prefers to break into canter. In canter which I let her do a couple of circles to see if that would loosen her up she again is very low and almost leans into the circle and gets really fast.
Just wondered whether anyone had any ideas?
