Anyone know what's going on there. It's been operating for years and I'd assumed it was a charity but doesn't appear to be. A recent post on fb suggests that there's been a dead pony there for 6 days and that the RSPCA have visited but horses/ponies/other animals still in a shocking state. Hope it's not another rescue turned neglect issue 😭.
 
It doesn't seem good there. I was chatting to the lady who posted on facebook about it, she lives near me and we are too far away to do anything physically.
It's been reported time and time again, I suggested she posted on here to see if anyone had any ideas.

If there are cattle have they also reported to DEFRA and APHA?
 
Go to local MP, Minister for rural affairs, local paper/s. Not sure who else but have those avenues been tried? Maybe local dog warden? Council may also act if someone complains about the rubbish from the pov of health issue/unsightly and vermin concern
If there's a fox in the house I presume it's a wild one? Can you get local wildlife charities on board with pushing for action from authorities+ publicity?

Tell her to start with the council.

Why aren't DEFRA or the RSPCA interested?
 
I've messaged the council on fb, if it does get in the press I'd hate them to be able to say that nobody reported it to them. Also contacted whw as I'm a member. The 2 very thin horses don't look emaciated enough yet for the RSPCA and there does appear to be some grass in the fields so I would doubt it meets their criteria for action. I was worried the dead pony had got stuck or entangled in something rather than starved and there seems to be so many other hazards for them - awful.
