Hi, not sure if anyone will still read this but I'm in the same boat trying to get my 21 year old TB to the UK. I've spoken with friends, vets, shipping companies and anyone else I could think of, does anyone have any more info on the Larnaca-Jordan-Heathrow flights? Who does them, how to get in touch, personal experiences? Any help would be much appreciated!
Hi,
I was looking for a way to get my gelding for the last year.
The Larnaca-Amman-Heathrow flight does not exist it seems. People have heard about it, but no one could give me a concrete details of how to get it.
I called Royal Jordanian Airline, they couldn't help.
For now the only way to transport my horse is by sea to Greece, then again by sea to Italy and then by road to Amsterdam or London.
I contacted the equine transportation agent in Greece who is apparently the best to transport horses to/from Cyprus.
It was recommended by international equine transportation companies as well as local people in Cyprus.
Give it a try if you want:

As for me I decided to leave my darling here. Not because of a hell of a trip as mush as of fear that he won't adjust to drastic climate & environment change in his age.
Freezing temperatures, snow and a long time in a stable turned-in won't make him happy I am afraid.
Good luck with your relocation,
Sasha
