travelling cooler rug recommendations

Any recommendations for a light weight cooler rug for travelling on warm days?

Thinking days when it is warm but I dont want my horse to get chilly over his back with the breeze with coming in from open windows after I've washed him, off while travelling home.

I have fleece / decathalon drying rug / thermatex but are all too warm on warm days.

if you were looking for a reason to buy one... i find the back on track mesh rugs are pretty good for this. not specifically a cooler but do the job well. i think they are very versatile.

Am I over thinking the fact that the fleece at the top bit looks TOO warm for travelling on warm summer day? (when still damp from being washed down)?

I haven't used the Le Mieux one but the fleece bit on the Weatherbeeta isn't thick - I'm certain it's thinner than a normal fleece rug (I don't use a regular fleece rug so couldn't swear to it), if it helps?

I’m with MP, I have the back on track sienna cooler one and it’s ideal for the weather conditions you describe. I’m sure there’s other cheaper options but like MP said if your looking to invest in one anyway I love mine.

I travel my cob in a Weatherbeeta scrim sheet in the summer. Very lightweight and just enough to keep the chill from the breeze off in the trailer.
