2 questions -

I'm trying to order a hat silk ,

1)What is the difference between ties and elastic ?

2)Will a pompom look ridiculous ?

Ties are slightly old - fashioned (IMO) there is a ties that goes around the hat silk & you tie it up above your peak to keep the silk on. Elastic ones have elastic round the bottom of the silk & kind of hook underneath your hat. I would hazard a guess that your other hat silks are elastic. Its more jockeys that use ties these days.

Go for it with the Pompom, they are fun for XC - but not for boys!!!!!!!!!!!! Very gay

I like ties because they're old school, tbh. I have a lovely bottle green silk with one, looks like the ones the King's Troop wear. But have elastic ones, too. That one's very smart and a bit different.

well if you want to be recognised in pics then i suggest coloured over reach boots - i must be the only person in northern ireland sporting red over-reach boots

now you just have to get a top that is beige/gold

That's what I say! My dad (shaved head, wide as tall, manly working, die hard Cardiff City supporter) wore pink to my graduation

I have a brown roll neck top and a brown BP

I'm not that obsessed .... yet
