I was talking to my friend today when she told me 2 of our friends horses escaped this morning and went cantering through the yard and up the lane towards their field. I thought fair enough, sometimes horses get loose on a yard, it's happened to me before. Then she told me both of them had been loose in the barn eating their breakfasts. It's only a small barn leading right onto the yard and has plenty of space to tie up outside stables. I've told my firend several times before to tie them up when they're outside their stables as somethings bound to happen one day but she says they don't need to be tied up as they're so well behaved! It's quite a big yard so there are always other people and horses around, and quite a few small children too. I really want to tell the YO about this but dont want to be seen to be stirring or get her into trouble, especially as i wasn't there when it happened today. I'm just concerned that if she keeps not tying them up someone is going to get hurt one day. They are both decent sized horses and if one knocks one of the kids over they could really hurt them. I've got my horse on there too and i dont want someting happening to her when i'm riding or going in/out from the fields. What would you all do
