I had the vet up this morning because his little willy was still swollen.
And it is bad news... his willy is basically too big for the opening so it can not drop down. It is apparently quite rare (aren't my problems always!) and he has to be put under general anaesthetic to have it snipped a little bit.
I am in absolute pieces to be honest... it is such a big thing putting such a young animal under a general. The actual operation itself is quite straight forwards I believe.
Has anyone else known of any foals that have had to have this done?
