Hi all,
In serious need of some serious help... well and truley lost the plot. Horse is recovering from a nasty ligament injury. Last scan revealed fantastic healing which means he can now go out in small bit of field. Vet said it's important that he's out for a few hours a day to keep the leg moving. Sounded fantastic....
Until turnout began, I have tried everything.... grazing him on a lunge line for half an hour and slowly releasing him, turning out at different times a day, giving some sedalin before turnout even tried leaving him for 5 minuets to get it out of his system but he's literally completely bonkers. He's on a calmer and in hand walked, today was the final straw. Came in with a red hot leg after going straight through the fence.
Totally run out of ideas ... I don't want to ruin all of the good healing but at some point he needs to go out.
I could cry. I'm debating taking the sedation myself haha!
