Underrated Must Haves & Cool Accessories

So I have a good horsey friend that each year for Christmas (yes I know I said the C word!) that I do A bit of a horsey hamper for, so a feed bucket filled with general useful things you can’t have enough of (usually £10 shop from B&M of tea tree shampoo, sponges , duck tape, pool mints ect) but then also include a couple of cool new tools that she might not buy herself, so for example another year I put one of those shredding blades in, one of those water bags for wheelbarrows, but looking for your ideas for new tools / accessories for this years hamper. Have you got any cool must haves you’ve discovered recently that I can take a look at?

I keep seeing people rave about the Tigers tongue brush thing, apparently it’s super for removing mud from a horses coat! Haven’t tried it though!

I bought one of those car wash foaming guns from eBay, it was about £10 - and i really like it for using on the horses! Just fill it up with abit of shampoo and then it makes washing off/bathtime really easy! You can get “horsey branded” ones, (ponyjet) but my eBay knock off is mega!

I have the tiger tongue sponges, the dogs love them so I have lost one, have a slightly shredded one and one still pristine in its packet. They're not the miracle dry stain remover that I was promised but I do find them better than a normal sponge for washing stains off, and great for scrubbing fine Arab legs.

I can highly recommend a cactus cloth for removing dried on mud - completely old fashioned but honestly the best!
Last year I was given some ear warmers that velcro to my hat straps, fleecey ones handmade by someone, and can confirm they are a winner for winter riding or driving lol.

I second the tiger tongue sponge thing. Brilliant at getting mud of and coats out. I love mine.

Also my friend picked up some fleece lined marigolds from B&M or home bargains. She uses them for poo picking, but i like the idea of them for washing buckets and toughs etc in the cold weather.

There were some warm, waterproof gloves recommended on here which changed my life last winter. I can’t for the life of me remember the name, but they weren’t horsey ones and were blue/black/white and from a workwear type company if you try a search.

It hasn't revolutionised my world, but it's a useful two-in-one that does a better job as a scraper than I expected. A side bonus is that water doesn't drip down my arm as it comes out of the 'sponge' side only. I keep it in the lorry.

They have been about a while, though we have onlyjust got one after decades of using any old thing, cheaper the better - a properly shaped bucket brush.
Absolute game changer as can scrub all the nooks and crannies and corners that get slimey

Those pull on waterproof hood things. I find ordinary hoods on coats move too much with the coat (for instance when I bend down) and I get rain all over my face/hair. These hoods can be taken on and off easily and are independent to a coat so there is no annoying movement. I have then for the farm, dog walking etc.
