My Grabbit tool for moving heavy stable mats.
Love the Grabbit thing. It makes moving mats easy.

The best thing I've bought recently is a woolly hat with integrated light. So like a headtorch but in a hat. You just plug the torch bit into a USB and it recharges. Goes off to find a picture...
...and found a link instead. This is the cheapest I found but there are loads on amazon.

H'mm, not sure... They're not that expensive though, so if it doesn't work, you could still use them for feet! :) I have 16 feet to do every morning & they are going to save me a lot of coat washing :)

My mare is not a fan of massage pads but she does like heat, I bought this on a whim at Cirencester Park Horse Trials a while back- she absolutely loves it and will even let me get to the parts of her back that she is normally a bit guarded about, wasn't expensive, and is really easy to use, stays heated for around 40 mins too.

which Tergra gloves do you recommend? Are a few at that link? Black ones or white ones? Precision and insulated? Thanks

I have both pairs; black palm for 'normal' cold days and the white ones for really cold days. The white ones stay remarkably clean considering! I can do everything I need to with the black palm ones but do have to take the whilte ones off for fiddly tasks. I can still do my girth up from in the saddle with the white ones though. :)

I love these homemade horse treats
I can’t find the recipe now but I think it had flour, apple, carrot, oats, molasses, flax, and pink salt. Mix it all together and figure out the quantities 30mins at 180 in a minature cupcake tin

I absolutely adore these. I got so used to being able to instantly get a bit more light that I ended up buying a baseball cap with lights in the brim to use during summer!
