Well, my grandfather has passed away, I am told he went in his sleep under morphine, so I think he was comfortable in some respects. The owners of the horse- when informed of the situation (I called on monday) after having a chat with mum, that she would just like to borrow £500 for catering then repay me once she had been paid- decided that it was not a suitable time for him to arrive to me- and they didnt want to wait till the 30th anymore as it was costing them in Livery, which I understood- sooo, having spent a few pennies on new rugs etc, I will now be taking them back, Jack was obviously not meant to be. I would have loved to have had him, and I still feel he was ideal for me to help me climb the dressage ladder which I had started to do with Shadow, and he gave me confidence, I'll just have to find another one like that somewhere. What it has taught me is that life will have major ups and downs, and there will be times when it feels like nothing is going right at all, but I have come through it, and now I realise there will be a light at the end of every tunnel..... and I hope no one minds but I would like to thank my grandad for everything he did for me, and for the love for all animals including horses that he passed on to me, and I'm sorry we didnt spend much time together over the last few years.... and I hope Jack finds a good home as he was such a lovely pony and deserves it! Sorry for the sad post.

My thoughts are with you honey. So sorry to hear about your gramps passing but you must be relieved he is no longer suffering?

Am sorry too re Jack, I really hope you do find another one soon, when things get back to normal.

Your a lovely girl and you can be sure that what your gramps taught you, will be his legacy to you.

I'm sorry about your Grandad. You just have to trust in fate and say you weren't meant to have Jack. I'm sure there's a smashing horse out there waiting for you soon.

Sorry about your Grandfather but at least he went in peace like you say. I was thinking about you and glad you gave an update. I am sure Jack will find a lovely home and you will find another super pony when the time is right. Best wishes to you and your family.

So sorry about your Grandfather. Re Jack I believe totally in fate, so there will be something even better round the corner. These things have a way of working out.
