Well, my grandfather has passed away, I am told he went in his sleep under morphine, so I think he was comfortable in some respects. The owners of the horse- when informed of the situation (I called on monday) after having a chat with mum, that she would just like to borrow £500 for catering then repay me once she had been paid- decided that it was not a suitable time for him to arrive to me- and they didnt want to wait till the 30th anymore as it was costing them in Livery, which I understood- sooo, having spent a few pennies on new rugs etc, I will now be taking them back, Jack was obviously not meant to be. I would have loved to have had him, and I still feel he was ideal for me to help me climb the dressage ladder which I had started to do with Shadow, and he gave me confidence, I'll just have to find another one like that somewhere. What it has taught me is that life will have major ups and downs, and there will be times when it feels like nothing is going right at all, but I have come through it, and now I realise there will be a light at the end of every tunnel..... and I hope no one minds but I would like to thank my grandad for everything he did for me, and for the love for all animals including horses that he passed on to me, and I'm sorry we didnt spend much time together over the last few years.... and I hope Jack finds a good home as he was such a lovely pony and deserves it! Sorry for the sad post.
