I posted about him 3 weeks ago when we'd just started riding him (I use the Royal 'we' - I leave the feisty youngsters to my rider - he's expendable!

This was him 3 weeks ago:

And this was him today:

Still a long way to go but I'm very happy with his progress to date.

Wow what a difference 3 weeks make at this rate a total superstar in the making a credit to you and your jockey

Thanks! I can only take the credit for breeding him - and his early handling. My Froggy (rider) is wonderful on youngsters - I'm very lucky indeed to have him! Everything he's backed for me - and for clients - has turned out wonderfully; and very quickly!

This is one of my favourite pics of him on a different youngster - this was the first (and smallest) of several bucks and he sat them all the same - and then calmly booted horse up ribs and trotted on.

And THAT is even bigger than Charlie - well, same height - but twice the width!

He he I can see what you like about it...a brilliant action shot with a unphased rider Class

might just be looking you up in a few years when it comes to breaking my new boy in

I've seen pics of your rider before & always admired him. If I get to the stage where Jim can come back into work is there any chance you could package him up & post him down to me? I think getting back on after what I expect will be a few months off could be "interesting" ......

One of mine would benefit from such a calm experienced rider too. The change in your youngster in 3 weeks is unbelievable.

Beautiful horse - and how fab to be abe to see such an improvement in three weeks.

So, in the interests of my happiness, could you please post horse - and his lovely calm rider (I love the expression on his face in the bucking pic - total boredom!) to me asap. Thankies!

So good to see his progress Janet, he is a lovely boy.

Great stunt rider too, I will keep that calm exterior in mind in future and try and emulate!
