Headshaking horse was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis. He was on steroids for about 5 weeks which helped. He stopped headshaking for almost 2 weeks but he has constant nasal discharge and the headshaking has started to return.
Vet has recommended a sinoscopy to have a look inside and hopefully flush out any blockages. A hole has to be made in his head through the bone to access the sinus
The surgeon will be at the clinic on June 1st so he will do it then. Fingers crossed that this will sort out the problem.
I'm bringing him for a group ride with XC jumps on Wednesday (his favourite thing). Anyway, onwards and upwards.
