So, as an update to my previous thread, I have been riding my mare out more up to the bridle than previously.
We have had less spooks, and none to her knees, but she is still tense, and doesn't feel right in trot again on the road. Not lame, but sort of like she did in the summer before she went lame. Something tells me there is something else going on.
She is fine in the school, willing and happy and jumped fabulously at a show at the weekend.
So the vet is coming out tomorrow to look at her on hard ground. There's nothing to see on the straight I think but lunging on hard ground will be interesting.
