I really did think we were on top of everything. She was bright, happy and pottering around well, happy to talk to us as soon as we arrived at the yard.
I would have been able to understand it more if she had gone downhill, but not to be as good as she was.
The owners just hadn't bothered with her and a lady on the yard had been caring for her. She had stabalized her by adjust her diet and treating her homeopathicly. It was only when the owners say her happy and sound in the sand school that they sold her to a dealer.
How much the deal knew I don't know. The most upsetting part is the fact that she was a childs pony and hence was the pride and joy of my two children.I just dont understand how people can be so horrible.
Ponies like Chantelle deserve the best and I'm glad that we had her and for the last year of her life she was provided with the best.
Just to say that I am so sorry about little Chantelle. She looks like a gorgeous little pony. I hope that when my horses time comes, she will go peacefully in her sleep too.
Thinking of you and your children.
