Buy from auction. You have 48 hrs to try it and get it vetted. If they say its rideable it has to be traffic proof and so on. If it isn't or fails the vet you give it back and get refunded.
This isn’t quite true and a bit more nuanced. I haven’t bought from uk sales but have done in Ireland and still hit issues despite so called vettings and a chance to vet at the sales.

Oh god I have zero self control. But this really does feel like The One. Right age, size, breeding, gender, temperament. Full history known. Everything checks out. And affordable - or at least will be when I sell Felix. So I just have to borrow for a bit.

Not saying much yet, pending vetting. But ....

🎉💗🍾!!!!

I like this boy https://www.horsequest.co.uk/advertisment/355922 (have a soft spot for a BWP)
And this one too https://www.horsequest.co.uk/advertisment/356516 (he looks lovely)

But not going there just yet until we've sold the house and moved to Mum's - whichever happens first.
My house needs to be in order first (literally)

Good luck AE!

Second one definitely the type.
First one, as lovely as he looks would be a heart over head purchase and one I would suggest you avoid.

Have I missed something, where’s lottie?!
Lottie stopped again at South View a month ago and I decided to retire her from competing. She has always been Miss Consistent - the odd pole but never a stopper. But since the first time she started stoppin and had hocks jabbed, and then back/neck also jabbed a year later, to about a month ago we have not had more than 4 months consistent work. She comes back into work great, and stays great - until she stops again.

I just decided enough was enough. I was not prepared to keep asking her to jump when she can't stay comfortable. But she's only 11 and still super keen and willing. So she is going to a non jumping home/ hacking home. She's on a LVWTB trial at my yard now.

I love the second one.

I have bought off these people before as they are quite local and would buy of them again if that helps !

Oh dear I appear to be viewing a horse this morning.... That was NOT the plan. I am not ready to buy. But I am secretly very very VERY excited by this one and feel I need to go and view. And then beg/borrow and steal.....
That’s so exciting!

I had sworn not to go horse shopping until the spring, but somehow I viewed a really lovely horse on Saturday, and now have a vetting arranged. This was also NOT the plan but I’m nervously excited.

It seems like there’s been an outbreak of non-horse horse shopping round these parts recently!

My non-horse shopping is moving along a treat.

Deposit paid. She was vetted 10 days ago but buyer walked away because of a small lump on belly, nowhere near where tack will be- that might or might not be a sarcoid. Price reduced to reflect and I am not bothered about that. Previous viewer is kindly sharing the vet report with me - nothing else flagged. I'm collecting on Thursday,

I need a new name. She was named by the family's 2 year old when she was born and it's a cute name for a fluffy foal but don't think it suits a performance bred, elegant filly! Owner does not mind me changing it - I did ask. So ideas please....

* 3 years old.
* Home-bred by Legrande - so Mylo's half sister.
* Bred by Legrande's owner (on here sometimes I think) and has lived out all her life.
* Out of a Balou du Rouet/Sandro Z mare
* Total blank canvas
* Looks IDENTICAL to Mylo. Pulls same funny faces too.
* Moves like a dream
* Fabulous temperament
* Friendly, calm, intelligent.
* Shares a birthday with me (so it was obviously meant to be....)

I'm in love 💗

Was lovely to see His Gorgeousness, Legrande, when I viewed. Still stunning at 22.

Name suggestions beginning with M please.

Madrigal, Memory, Merrily, Modiste (although you may have to keep explaining that, no, she isn't called Modest), Motif, Myriad.

She's absolutely beautiful. Congratulations!
