Who else has changed their plans, horsey or otherwise because of the grotty weather?

I was supposed to go and do some ground work with the chubby one and some ridden work with the scatty one.... But I'm going to admit to being a horrendous fair weather rider and am going to give them both a day off

I did yesterday due to the rain but today I didn't have much planned (having a lazy day in front of the fire

), typically it is dry today!

It is absoloutely chucking it down here and hasn't stopped since I got up! Feeling guilty though as scatty one hasn't been worked for over a week since she got moved to a new paddock with massive amounts of grass, I'm sure she isn't complaining though!

Yup. My riding plans have been rained off today too

Ho hum, I guess the field will benefit though.

I haven't ridden since last Monday! I have been SO busy this week I thought it wouldn't matter because I am free this weekend to ride. BUT this weather has been SO awful I still haven't ridden.
The rain this morning was just mad - poor horsey is out 24hours and I have no stable at the moment to bring him in to so I have left him out looking VERY miserable.

lol scatty one is also out in the rain with no stable on her new paddock, although with all the grass she has I'm sure she doesn't care all that much.

Chubby one will no doubt be sulking even more because of the rain...she is very, very unimpressed that she is on a diet AND being worked, something I get the impression is quite alien to her!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has rained off. Makes me feel less guilty!

Was going to help another forum member at Ascott today but that was cancelled

Planned to jump B this morning but it chucked it down from 4am until 10am flooding our school for the first time ever so that was a non runner

Good news is that all the rain will mean I can move my fencing around, something I have been trying to do for weeks

Was going to go SJ but changed mind when I saw the forecast. Managed to get both ridden before it rained and now sat inside looking out at a very big thunderstorm.
