using a girth with elastic at both ends

I need a new girth and am looking at the Jaguar curved waffle girth which is elasticated at both ends, question is being double elastic do I need a size smaller than my single ended elastic 44" thorogood girth?

I use the same size whether elasticated or not. The elastic should be pretty firm on a decent girth with enough give to be comfortable for the horse but not so much that you can over tighten the girth IMO so you shouldn't need to change the size.

I have that girth and although it's elasticated, the elastic is really tight so I would definitely use the same size
