Using a hairdryer on a horse?!

Seeing as mine practically ties himself in knots when i bring a plastic bag near his stable, let alone clippers, i think a haird dryer would be out of the question

and he HATES it when my friend plays music on her phone (HER pony likes it!)

My 'clipper phobic horse' didnt swallow that trick......

Monty and the crew gave up after an hour long attempt at getting him to accept the hairdryer!!! The clippers never really entered into the equasion

Coming a bit late to this thread, but I'm glad so many people have 'come out' about using hairdryers on their horses! When I posted about using one on my mare a few weeks ago, everyone laughed at me! Go for it, if your horse is good with clippers chances are you'll be fine. Mine was a little suspicious at first but after 5 mins didn't take any notice

Remember to do it in a safe area and use a circuit breaker though!

I use one to dry my horses legs and they are fine with it

But then they are good to be clipped, so I suppose it sounds the same.

Don't forget to use a circuit breaker though!
