Do vented/airflow/holey/breathable boots really keep the horse's legs cooler? Should I replace my non-vented, tatty tendon boots with fancy vented ones, or sew the strap back on and save my money?
I use the 'dalmar' boots in my horse. His legs are never wet (sweaty) when they come off. Event after xc. So yes, I think they're worth it.
I also use them for turnout (when there's a new horse etc) if I know he's likely to run around a bit!
Anyone used the Equilibrium trizone all spot boots?
I have the PE XC boots for my ridiculously pathetic arab Faracat. I was dubious whether the small would be petite around her stick legs - but they fit well on her. For normal schooling etc I have to use bandages or fluffy lined boots on her hind legs - I can't use WW boots at all as they rub her raw - but she has been fine with the PE boots (so far.. touch wood... #pansy pony...)
Off to look at the correct boots LOL.No. not tried thos. The elite sports medicine boots, they aren't bulky or particularly long for SMBs though.
