Bit of back ground - have a pony on the yard been really fine can get a little stressed when left alone, however always something with him only time on his own is about 5 min when other horses come in, he is turned out 8am - 5.30pm every day in on a night, He is on a grass paddock however no grass whats so ever so has hay thrown in been on hay all winter and gets hay on a night. Fed wise 1/4 mix and 1/2 hi fi and a water. He has been on this all winter and looks well not to fat or thin
For the past 3 weeks he has had the real runs
not grass runs you get around spring ( not green ) its the real splats as in cow splats. He is getting no grass and the tiny bit that is grown should not cause any bother really been in the same field all winter. He is up to date with wormers in fact due 1st april very well in himself and looks well.
Any ideas and what can i give to try and dry him up? i would of thought if it was the tiny bit of grass he would have sorted himself out by now and be use to it however whan i say there is nothing on the field i mean that.
He gets only hay too same stuff he has had all winter.
thanks
