Another one with tears in her eyes. And how lovely to hear of a hospital putting a patient's needs above "cleanliness", "health and safety" etc. Tissues here too please.
Such a lovely photo. What a lovely gesture of the hospital to allow her a final goodbye but at the same time so heartbreakingly sad.
My glasses have fogged up and I'm reaching for the tissues big time.
I read that the week before they let her see one of her dogs and then this week two of her horses - it's a story I keep coming upon today on the various news pages/web and makes me well up every time. It is the thought of that last breath of your horse on your face and getting to get that scent of them again in your nose.
So lovely. Hope it brought her much peace and joy in her final hours. I know I would want this to happen and it's fantastic that people worked together to make this happen. RIP Sheila.
