I have another cushings case, he is nearly 40 and is fit and well, we watch him carefully for lami and he is a hairy bear. He has had cushings forever and the vets say he should have gone long ago. He still has that vital spark and is very naughty, another bout of lami would probably see him off as his pedal bones have rotated so far he shouldn't really be sound. He was galloping around the big field on monday just because he could

Very sorry to hear this and echo what everyone has said. You are doing the last decent thing for a dear friend, am sure she will be thanking you for it.
