Vet recommendations for 5 stage vetting - Lancashire

On behalf of a friend.

As title - would be for a 3 year old pony which has been lightly backed / started lunging.

Potential owner would not be there so need someone very well recommended.

In that case then, I'd recommend Oakhill Vets, who are based near Preston (approx 10 mins from Chorley).

I would ask for either Alistair or Pete Acton - only because they are the older vets (late 40's) and have been round the block a bit ........ but don't tell them I said that.
I believe they charge £180 for a 5* vetting + travelling.

If the owners already use this vet, I do know of somebody else out that way. Let me know!

Simon Constable in Radcliffe is also very good. Radcliffe isn't too far away from Chorley.

Its got to be Simon Constable, he is excellent. But ask for him personally to do the vetting as there are other vets at the practice. They are all good but Simon doesnt miss a trick..
