Is that a good thing - do you know him and his owners? They seemed really lovely people and as you can see - they live in a beautiful place I think the girls would have quite happily moved in!!

Kearns & Rea all the way for me - absolutely brilliant. Vetted last two for me and very honest and straightforward with their reports and opinions.

Good luck!

I thought the pony was owned by a girl who is renting space there, not the yards owner.

If its the one I'm thinking of, she bought this pony about a year ago to go and do some BSJA SJ'ing as she wanted a bigger animal for the bigger stuff. She was @ Hartpury doing a BHS course last year (my daughter was in the college with her, but doing the ND), but I've no idea how much competition she has done with it or how much success she has had. I understand she paid a good sum also !

We have some friends who keep their horses there also (hence the pics)

This pony is owned by the people at the house next door to the arena. It has jumped BSJA at Rockhampton and Weston Lawns and been placed in all but one of the classes it has jumped in.

I'm pretty sure Kearns and Rea (now the Three Counties Equine Hospital!) don't do vetings anymore, although they are right outside Tewkesbury.
I'd use Bourton Vale if I were you... can get you the number if you'd like?
And if you'd have said you were interested in a pony from Tewkesbury I'd have gone and scouted it out for you first!

QR,
K and R do do vettings and strictly by the book.
You are best off to ask for Jess, Andrew or Graham, they have quite a few moderate vets there.
Wouldnt touch BV with a bargepole.
There is a very good vet in Tewkesbury, but I cant remember his name.

Not disagreeing with you but just curious why you wouldn't use BV?

Have to say Mike at Woodlands - can't beat him. Excellent, highly skilled and experienced vet who we couldn't speak highly enough of......

BV once graded my horse on a scale of 1 -10, 10 being a nutter and 1 being a dope on a rope and graded mine an 8.
He never kicked our or did anything wrong but put my purchasers off.
He passed the vet in every other way.
Was not a happy bunny
