Ohh Dexy :(

Gentle pats for Dex, hope the vet patches him up :( xx

Yeah quite on the aggressive dog front...... could have been really nasty had he retaliated- but he didnt at all- poor boy, its really swollen up already. Only saving grace it is in a place he cant lick it.

Oh, poor Dexie:(

As you say, at least he can't lick it and if the vet says it's ok once it's healed up a bit, you could do what I did when Henry was bitten and use an old t-shirt to protect the wound - then he can have a bit of a run without getting the site dirty.

Quite- stop trying to lure others into your "I dress up ma dog" cult!!!

It is only a tiny wound but really quite swollen- vet had a good poke and a prod, and he has a high temp all ready, and it is oozing stuff so jabs of anti B's anti inflams, plus anti B tablets and we are home- hes on the sofa making "I need more sausages cos I iz a bit brokded" noises!

Aah poor boy, cant believe the killer in him didnt come out like some incredible hulk;).

Was it just a bit of rough play gone wrong? Lots of healing vibes from me and my killers, in the mean time you need to give him a serious talking to as regards his image. Im surprised he didnt attack the vet who treated him;) I hope the people who prejudged him on here read this and think again

Get well soon Dex

One minute we were all walking along just fine, the next they were playing, but then the sounds changed........ poor poor boy is seriously lame- OH just had to carry him up the steps for a pee :(

We had one growl in the vets- but then I would be growling if someone stuck a thermometer up my ass!!

Hugs dex.

I think he needs to come and live with Abe, send him to me at one :D :D

Seriously though get him out with some friendly dogs as quick as you can.

I think Dex would move in with you in a flash- he would adore Abe!!!

Stupid thing is it IS a friendly dog that bit him- its a dog one of the girls uses with all the rescues to help with their socialisation, bloody annoying though!

Just hope it does not make him even more reactive. He wouldnt go for a walk even if I wanted him to atm- very lame poor lad.

This bite is horrible though- for one tiny little break in the skin- it is ooozzing slightly blood stained liquid everywhere, and he is obviously in pain as he's pretty much laid down all day- with "onlyz chicken will makes me better" eyez.....

If this dog ever stops eating I'll know he is on deaths door!

Aha!!

I love the 'I iz sooooooooooooo pawly I can't moove' act - until the dinner bowl comes out!!:eek::D:D:D

My old spangle was the best at milking it - one time she had a poorly paw and was on 3 leags so was being carried up and downstairs etc etc until someone rang the doorbell and she took off like a rocket, stopped halfway down the hall and looked back at me, saw me watching and then started limping again:rolleyes: - but on the other leg:eek: - BUSTED!!!!:D:D:D

Both the boys are far to stupid to try something like that but walk around with a permanent 'Mi stomach thinkz mi froat haz bin cut' look:rolleyes::D:D:D

Aw poor Dexie, hope he soon recovers. He should be fine as he is on abs etc. A gsd bitch of ours had a scrap and we totally missed a puncture wound on her chest until it formed a huge abscess, it actually burst in the vets waiting room, lovely. :p
