Vibes for Little Jockey Needed - Not a great start to the season!

Think I'd encourage the parents to have a word - or at least put the idea in their heads!
I've only ever been drag hunting but when I had a problem (rein snapped) the whole field (not very big that day, maybe 15 people?) stopped and they contacted the back up team who brought me a new set (drive as close to us as they can with a boot full of emergency equipment) - had to wait about 15 mintues but they just treated it as an extra chance to get the hip flasks out.

I was very grateful.

OMCod!
I hope LJ is ok!
I find that disgusting!-The fact that only one person came back to help! I have only ever hunted once on horse and there was a nasty accident then. As annagain said, when it happened out came the hip flasks and everyone enjoyed their unscheduled stop.
The Hunt Master's train of thought was that if one of 'his' was down then everyone waited.

Surprised there were no gate shutters following behind who should have been able to get help.
Havent hunted for years but remember not everyone blessed with either good manners or common sense
Hope a quick recovery is made and the nerve unaffected
