my friends mare had a nasty cut to her leg a couple of weeks ago, it as been treated and well looked after, but had to have vet yest as horse couldn't put foot down. vet thinks infection as probally gone too far,and is coming back today, the mare is 24 years old and looks fantastic at the moment, so fingers crossed she dosn't have to be PTS today
