So another update, Snowy was last ridden a while ago (years) hes been lunged and although forward going was very good
YOs Son had a go first and pony soon realised what he was doing and quite happily bombed around the school with his head getting lower and lower..... eventually rider got his act together and rode him properly, also said he would like to use him as a Games pony which I sure he would be brilliant at!! Anyway got my son on board (on lead rein) and had a good walk round and said he would like to trot, well erratic Shetland trot + Laughing uncontrollably Child = Child sliding out the side door!! Got back on and tried again, much better!!!
I took a few pics and short vids. We are going to try a kimblewick as I put him in a snaffle and turns out he was ridden in a Pelham, bit much for a 6 year old boy so a kimblewick we shall try.
