There are a group of people posing as equine photographers doing the rounds at the moment - they take photos for you and then later on come and remove all horses from the premises.

They are doing 'business' out of a white minibus/van type vehivle registration number N253 XAJ, and have also been linked to a red izuzu, reg unknown.
They were last seen trying to work TODAY in Newent, Gloucestershire.

The police number issued to us is 0845 090 1234.

Please be vigilant!

Its the first i've heard of it, its very worrying to think people are doing that around here!

Bounty. This all started when I posted a text from Derbyshire Horse Watch with this reg etc. They seem to have been from Scotland to Lands End during the last week or so ALL on the same night. Today I got three texts about now a silver transit at Lambley Nottingham. I rang the Police who have a liason officer with Horse watch. He rang me back and said he has check all calls which are passed to him from any attending police also he has checked with local peeps in that area. Nothing reported. He also informed me that the first one reported was a hoax and that as far as he knows they are all hoaxes. Sorry but I think some sad sod has stared this with one text and the word had spread? Try checking with the Police before you beleive anything now as this is getting ridiculous.

please will people check the other postings before again listing my vehicle
the vehicle N253 XAJ which indeed is a cream not white minibus has been cleared of all involvement in this there is even a piece on the news section on here anyone wishing to check this can tel derbyshire police or look on the website for hope valley riding club
if this number plate is seen in suspicious circumsatnces please feel free to contact police as i as much as anyone else would love to see these people caught i wil myself contact gwent police today and make them aware of the situation but until people stop passing on different versions of the original text people are going to be missing important things

EA04FXL. they called by and asked me to buy one, the other day, Craven Arms area, Shropshire.

it could all be fine, of course, but who knows, maybe they are looking at the horses and trailers?????????
