I have used them on two horses. I washed with non bio fragrance free washing liquid, which took a bit of finding. Somewhere in a detailed set of instructions I think it says this. Also wash okay with nothing added to washing machine.

I think they are great. I have used for a violent leg allergic reaction and for a heel infection that was difficult to clear up. I think they are a useful bit of the first aid kit for horses with sensitive legs. As offer protection and healing benefits whilst allowing turnout.
