Sooo how are we washing saddle pads? What are we washing them in and arw we using our own machines? Andddd is there something we can add in with them/put them in that gathers/catches the hair?
What is this wash bag and where is it from? Defs sounds like a plan!I've got a wash bag which I use, never found hair in my machine!
Lololol i usually do this but i feel there is a better way
You mean your OH actually knows where the washing machine is??I put the hoover over them first
Then in the washing machine when OH is out.
Use non bio on a normal wash! Even white pads come up wellWhat is this wash bag and where is it from? Defs sounds like a plan!
And just to confirm- are we using non bio pods or anything in particular?

I washed a load of stuff yesterday and due to wind and rain ended up putting a bailer twine washing line in one stable, totally forgot until I shoved a bemused pony in this morningMine go to the rug wash lady. I can wash them at home, but drying's a pain! £3 a pad, washed, dried & returned to me.
The wee Magic Gloves? Happy days will stock up on a few pairs of these! The other day I bought some of those pimple grooming gloves, they have rubbery palms and are designed to massage/groom a horse. I accidentally found that are really pretty good as de-hair-ing (!) saddle pads!
Thats really good value for the rug wash lady- not sure how much ours is but she keeps things for months and months which is fine for rugs May - Sept, less fine for saddle pads (I dont need encouragement to buy any more lol)Mine go to the rug wash lady. This with smol non bio on 30 degrees higher is proper grubby.I just wang them in the machine. I do brush the worst off first.
I them briefly wipe the drum and door seal.
I then wash my stable jacket or dog jackets, or something else that doesn't matter if it is hairy.
I them wipe the machine and empty the filter.
I would not then wash a going out outfit, but normal clothes would be fine.
I use wash bags from Amazon. What is this wash bag and where is it from? Defs sounds like a plan!
