I have Swish turn-out in 50g and 100g. 100% waterproof so far.

Swish do a no fill but make this statement: All our turnout rugs have the same waterproof and breathable 1200denier outers including this 0g rug. That being said we only like to state our no fill turnout rug as shower proof as in long periods of heavy, constant rain the rug has no filling to help the materials breath meaning condensation may build up which may cause patches of dampness. Similar to an anorak coat! This shouldn’t be an issue if a liner rug is used underneath the turnout.

I have an Amigo 900d 0g that's doing well but I don't use it in the winter, its Sring & Autumn wardrobe

I have an amigo no fill that’s about 9 years old and still waterproof and my Shires Highlanders are waterproof. So far this winter, my ponies haven’t worn anything else. I don’t get them washed and reproved though which is maybe why I don’t have a problem with them leaking. My gallop and John Whittaker ones leaked almost immediately as did the shires one with the sheep pattern.

sadly mine wasn’t waterproof :(
I always see huge recommendations for Shires, most are only 600d so
It surprises me that they do seem to be pretty reliable.
I have a few and yes when new they are great but I’m not sure they last anywhere near as long as something like a Supreme, however I guess it’s reflected in the price.

Premier Equine Buster Zero, we have had a few and they have never leaked. They can also be fitted with the liners to make different combinations depending on the temperature.

I have a few no fill 1200 Dernier Horseware rugs that that are waterproof

My no fill Rambo Optimo leaked and eventually went back for refund. (It was leaking even with liners under it!)

I also find Shires no fill Tempest to be waterproof.

My no fill weatherbeeta is doing ok as is the Swish 50g. None of the Shires no fills have stayed waterproof and the big lad has been upgraded to a 40g Big Horse after his highlander couldn't manage heavy rain.
