We are in the middle of june and

I was thinking there seem to be less nasty flies as well. I've not had to put fly rugs/masks on mine yet. Last year, and prev few years I'm sure all of that came out in May.

My boys are in during the day and out at night, but my TB has such unusually sensitive skin, every fly bite swells up, so once that starts I know it's time for his fly suits!

None here either but could be something to do with the fact that we have a yard full of dive bombing Swallows!

Had a horse in last night and had to spend 30 mins washing Swallow poo off her

My horse is stabled in an aviary! Or it seems like that with a swallows nest and sparrows.Do you think the less flies is down to the swallows or was it too dry earlier for the flies to get a drink.

Well we never seem fly infested so I just assume it is the swallows which makes up for the cleaning of Swallow Poo somewhat:D

But yes it is like stabling in an aviary, however horses are now used to dive bombing so also acts as an anti spook training
